We are working with a dynamic, three-form entry primary school in Islington recruiting for an HR Manager. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys the community feel of a primary setting while managing a busy and diverse workload.

The Role As the sole HR specialist, you will provide a comprehensive service to the Headteacher and Governing Body.
* Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
* Key responsibilities include:
o Staff Wellbeing: Developing and implementing initiatives to promote mental health and work-life balance across the staff body.
o Absence Management: Monitoring staff attendance, conducting return-to-work interviews, and managing occupational health referrals.
o Note Taking: Serving as the professional clerk for formal HR hearings and staff committee meetings.
o Induction: Designing and delivering high-quality induction programmes for new starters to ensure a smooth integration into the school.
* Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)
