As a Backend Developer at FutureSight, you will collaborate with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives. We are seeking someone with a proactive “Let’s roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude. The ideal candidate should demonstrate energy, passion, and a “can-do” attitude, along with excellent engagement and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on back-end development best practices.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs or UX design.
Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
Implement and maintain database structures and queries.
Ensure the security and integrity of back-end systems.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Provide support to other members of the production team.
Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development.
Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Experience with frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot, or Express.js.
Familiarity with database systems, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Understanding of API design and development, including RESTful principles.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
Working knowledge of SEO principles.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Expertise and experience in implementing AI tools.
Nice to Have Proficiency in Polish language for effective communication.
Previous experience in mentoring.
