Job Overview

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? Latham’s Steel Doors, the UK’s leading supplier of high-quality steel security doors, is looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone hungry to earn, with a competitive basic salary of £28,000-£32,000 and an uncapped individual bonus potential that could see you earn an additional £15,000 per year on top of your base salary.

As part of our small vibrant and supportive team of 7, you’ll engage with customers via phone, email, and in-person, providing expert advice and tailored solutions to meet their needs. There is no cold calling here - your day will be a mixture of inbound and outbound calls, all outbound calls will be following up on an existing enquiry. This role is Monday-Friday 8-4 or 9-5 - to be discussed at interview stage.

Responsibilities

* Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing expert advice and solutions
* Process quotations and sales orders, proactively upselling where possible
* Handle online sales from platforms like our website and eBay
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service from enquiry to after-sales support
* Resolve customer queries efficiently to maximise satisfaction
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry
* Maintain high service standards, ensuring professionalism and attention to detail
* Stay up to date with company products and industry trends through monthly sales meetings
* Contribute to team success by meeting and exceeding targets

Experience

* Minimum 2 years of sales experience (B2B or B2C)
* Industry experience in doors/windows preferred but not essential
* Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills
* A persuasive and engaging phone manner
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively
* Strong problem-solving abilities and team-working skills
* Computer-literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail-oriented with the ability to retain product knowledge

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
