Job Title: Site Manager New Build Residential
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Start Date: April 2026
Rate: £250 £270 per day (CIS / Ltd) DOE
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build residential development in Bicester, starting in April. This is a freelance role with a reputable contractor delivering a high-quality housing scheme.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to programme
* Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on site
* Enforce health & safety standards and site compliance
* Monitor build progress and report into senior management
* Carry out quality control inspections and snagging
* Maintain site records, RAMS, and permits
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
Requirements
* Proven track record as a Site Manager on new build residential projects
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid (essential)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes and H&S regulations
* Ability to drive programme and manage multiple trades
Desirable
* Experience with volume housebuilders
* NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent)
* Temporary Works / Scaffold Inspection tickets
