A Day in the Life of a Cook:
Our Cooks play a vital role in preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety:
* Creating varied, tasty menus tailored to residents' dietary needs
* Providing special diets as required
* Cleaning and washing up after meals, ensuring kitchen cleanliness
* Preparing and serving meals
* Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
* Managing stock control, replenishment, and ordering
* Ensuring Food Hygiene and Safety standards are met, with proper documentation
Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should have experience as a Cook, with the ability to meet various dietary requirements. Relevant qualifications, Food Hygiene Certificates, and knowledge of regulations are essential.
