ROLE: Quality Manager
LOCATION: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000 dependant of experience
About the Role
An established and growing electronics manufacturing business in Stevenage is seeking a skilled and proactive Quality Manager to lead its quality assurance and compliance efforts. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of high-quality electronic products to a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defence, medical, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, develop, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13845 and customer-specific standards.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
3. Manage and lead audits – internal, customer, and third-party – ensuring readiness and compliance.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Oversee product and process quality through inspections, testing, and monitoring of KPIs.
