Key Responsibilities
* Sell new and used vehicles using an effective sales process while achieving the best profit for the business.
* Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for part exchange.
* Maintain showroom and displays to the required Nissan standard.
* Prospect for new and used car customers regularly to create additional sales opportunities.
* Follow the sales process precisely and consistently.
* Prepare and hand over sold vehicles to customers, providing full briefing on vehicle operation and controls, and introduce them to aftersales staff.
* Maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to build relationships for potential repeat business.
* Develop and maintain full product knowledge of all Nissan products, accessories, prices, and major competitor key features.
* Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant data is kept accurately and comprehensively.
* Participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales penetration and support on‑ and off‑site promotions run by the department.
Qualifications & Skills
Professionalism, self‑motivation and good interpersonal skills are essential. A full driving licence is required. Experience in a similar role or at least five years of sales experience is desirable.
