Now let us tell you about the role:
1. Manage daily operations of onsite material processing, recovery, and disposal.
2. Ensure health, safety & wellbeing of all operational personnel.
3. Maintain health & safety compliance for all visitors to the site.
4. Ensure compliance with Environment Agency site permit and all relevant legislation.
5. Adhere to all company processes & procedures.
6. Participate actively in the on-site senior management team.
7. Support recruitment, induction, and training of new employees.
8. Oversee training, development, and coaching of staff.
9. Manage preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
10. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure material transport aligns with offtake agreements and permits.
11. Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and conduct competency assessments.
12. Contribute to the site SHEQ working group.
13. Conduct performance reviews of operational personnel.
14. Participate in daily site planning and regional processing meetings.
15. Maximize plant availability and throughput while maintaining output quality.
16. Manage operational costs effectively.
17. Ensure sufficient labor for safe and compliant shifts.
18. Oversee payroll submissions.
Essential Requirements
* WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) with continued competency certification.
