Role Overview
In partnership with Inverclyde Council, Inverclyde HSCP provides joint health and social care services to over 79,000 residents. We are seeking an exceptional Human Resources Manager responsible for providing timely, responsive, and effective HR advice and support on complex operational issues. The role involves working closely with management teams, exercising relationship management skills, and collaborating with the HR Support and Advice Unit and wider HR and Organisational Development Directorate.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with stakeholders and trade unions, ensuring adherence to national Staff Governance Standards and Everyone Matters framework.
* Challenge thinking, coach, and develop managers to improve confidence and capability in managing teams and applying policies consistently.
* Implement and promote workforce-related policies and procedures across the organization.
* Engage effectively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including trade unions.
* Lead and support organizational change initiatives within a large, complex environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Recent successful experience in a HR role within a similar scale and complexity, NHS, local government, or wider public/private sector.
* Proven ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and manage complex HR issues.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent practical experience in HR.
* Member of CIPD or similar professional body.
* Strong leadership, negotiation, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
Additional Information
The role offers flexibility regarding base location, with the possibility of working from home and traveling across the NHSGGC area. The post may require working in other areas as needed.
