This is a weekend role, working every Saturday and Sunday, perfect if you are looking for regular hours that still leave your weekdays free.
Responsibilities
* Plan menus that reflect individual tastes and dietary needs
* Use fresh, quality ingredients to prepare nutritious and delicious meals
* Manage stock, order supplies and ensure everything is fresh and safe
* Lead the kitchen team, keeping the atmosphere calm and welcoming
* Invite residents to get involved in food activities, turning mealtimes into something special
What You’ll Bring
* A Food Handling Certificate and catering experience
* Organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
* A genuine passion for using food to nurture and comfort
* Knowledge of food hygiene and Health & Safety
* Basic computer skills
* PVG Scheme membership or willingness to join
Requirements and Compliance
* As a Christian organisation, you will need to have respect for all aspects of Christian worship
* You will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme and undertake necessary vetting checks
* Adhere to the SSSC Code of practice
* We will check entitlement to work in the UK for all prospective employees
