BACKGROUND Greater Shankill Partnership is a key organisation concerned with the physical, social and economic regeneration of the Greater Shankill area and has built a local plan around four themes: Children, Young People & Families, Employment & Employability, Physical Development and Quality of Life incorporating a Safe, Healthy & Creative Community. Greater Shankill Partnership have become a partner in 2 Belfast wide PeacePlus contracts to be delivered as part of a consortium. Under the Belfast PeacePlus Health & Wellbeing Programme, Greater Shankill Partnership will be responsible for delivering the specific activities and outputs and achieving the specific outcomes set out in the tender submission for the wards of Shankill, Crumlin & Woodvale. This includes Take 5 and Good Relations training and activities. Under the PeacePlus Capacity Building Programme,Greater Shankill Partnership will be responsible for the delivery of the local element of this programme, supporting individuals, community groups and local leaders with opportunities for accredited training, networking, cross-border learning and community-led action planning. JOB SUMMARY / MAIN PURPOSE The will work directly with the 2 consortium leads as the Greater Shankill representative. The main purpose is to coordinate, recruit and be responsible for all administration / reporting of both projects. KEY TASKS Co-ordination and Delivery of Two City-wide PeacePlus Projects: Recruit participants as defined in the tender specification Identify delivery agents to provide appropriate training packages Source venues / resources for programmes Support the delivery of community programmes and activities Engage local groups to boost participation and development Promote equality, inclusion, and community cohesion Assist with events & programmes Build relationships with community partners and agencies Administration & Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and impact stories for stakeholders and funders. Maintain accurate records of activities, engagement, and program outcomes. Ensure alignment with organizational values and accountability standards. Personal Development, Performance and Professionalism: Ensure the ongoing confidence of the public by maintaining high standards of personal accountability and ethical practice. Facilitate liaison with professional and senior management within stakeholder organisations. Personnel Specification Essential Criteria Possess a University Degree, Professional Qualification or equivalent qualification in a relevant area. OR Possess 5 GCSEs grades A C, including English language AND have 2 years experience equivalent to 16 hours per week in a community/voluntary/statutory environment coordinating funded projects. OR NVQ Level 3 or equivalent AND have 1 years experience equivalent to 16 hours per week in a community/voluntary/ statutory environment coordinating funded projects. Demonstrate experience of effectively engaging with and building positive relationships with groups and participants Demonstrate experience of liaising with a broad range of service providers. Demonstrate experience of providing progress reports and management information in clear and agreed formats, in line with a reporting schedule. Demonstrate experience of successfully prioritising and managing your own workload while also communicating effectively with colleagues and management. Hold a full license valid in the UK with access to a car. This criterion will be waived in the case of an applicant whose disability prohibits driving but who is able to make alternative arrangements. Desirable Criteria Demonstrate experience of at least 1 year working with or on PEACE projects. Demonstrate experience of using or contributing to outcomes focussed monitoring and evaluation processes.
