Overview
Working Site Manager - Fast Track Refurbishment, Retail & Restaurant Fit Out. Main Contractor. Refurbishment / Interior Fit Out. Wakefield, Leeds. Freelance / Temporary Role. 6 weeks approx.
Responsibilities
* Managing the project on site.
* Managing the build program.
* Some inductions if required.
* Managing Health and Safety.
* Working closely with all sub-contractors to ensure projects finish on time.
* Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained.
* Running the project on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of a visiting Contracts Manager; delivering the project from inception to completion.
Requirements / Qualifications
* SMSTS or SSSTS.
* CSCS Black or Gold Card.
* Asbestos Awareness and First Aid certificates.
* Hands-on, hands-on role; a joinery background would be beneficial.
* Self-motivated, autonomous, able to drive subcontractors.
* Previous experience managing fast track interior fit out or refurbishment sites within the leisure and hospitality sectors is beneficial.
Project Details
* Project start: 11 September 2025.
* Duration: minimum 6 weeks, with potential for a similar follow-on project in Sheffield city centre (6–8 weeks).
Remuneration
Dependent upon experience, up to £250 per day DOE.
