Supply Chain and Quality Manager (Contract)
Carbon60's aerospace client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join their team working on their clients site. This is a fully onsite role based in Derby, supporting complex aerospace manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Derby (DE24) – 100% onsite
Contract Details
* Contract until: end of 2026
* Hours: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at standard rate)
* IR35: Inside IR35
* Security Clearance: BPSS+ (must be eligible)
Pay Rate
* £41.00 per hour Umbrella
* £30.64 per hour PAYE
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and improving supplier performance while ensuring robust quality, risk and governance processes across the supply chain. The role sits at the interface between supply chain, manufacturing and quality, supporting both operational delivery and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and manage supplier performance, load and capacity
* Conduct rate readiness and supply chain risk assessments
* Manage design change industrialisation and transfer of work activities
* Lead non‑conformity correction and eradication activities
* Implement and manage APQP, SQIP and quality improvement plans
* Identify, assess and mitigate supply chain and quality risks
* Provide clear governance, reporting and stakeholder communication
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong background in aerospace manufacturing environments
* Proven experience in supply chain and quality management
* Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong problem‑solving and data analysis capability
* Experience with risk management and recovery activities
* Project management experience beneficial
