Site Manager We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of Engineers, Foremen, operatives, and plant on site Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to ensure works commence and progress without delay Implement and uphold Company Health & Safety Management Systems and Quality Assurance procedures Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations Ensure all works are delivered in line with relevant specifications and project requirements Monitor and report site progress, maintaining accurate reporting, checkpoints, and financial updates Prepare the site ahead of works commencing, liaising with buyers, estimators, and surveyors Develop and manage the programme of works, planning proactively to mitigate risks and avoid delays Build strong working relationships with clients and maintain a collaborative project environment Work closely with the Construction Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure labour and plant forecasts are aligned with budget expectations Oversee and manage all temporary works activities across the site What We’re Looking For Reliable, punctual, and highly organised Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and site teams Committed to delivering projects safely and on schedule Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Right to work in the UK Essential Qualifications & Certifications CSCS (Supervision / Management) or Engineering-related Degree (or equivalent) Temporary Works Coordinator certification CITB 5-Day SMSTS First Aid at Work certification Completion of company IT induction and training programme within the first 1–3 months of employment
