Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
2. Managing daily site activities and short-term programme delivery
3. Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety procedures and standards
4. Monitoring quality of works and ensuringpliance with specifications
5. Leading site meetings and reporting on progress to the project team
6. Managing logistics, materials, and resource allocation
7. Resolving on-site issues efficiently to maintain programme targets
This is a freelance opportunity on a long-term, multi-phase project with significant scope.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
8. Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction (build or major projects preferred)
9. Strong leadership and team management skills
10. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinatingplex site activities
11. A solid understanding of health & safety regulations and best practice
12. Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage programme delivery
13. Excellentmunication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
14. Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification
