Duties and Responsibilities
1. Compile seasonal menus with input from residents, families, and the Home Manager, ensuring meals are suitable for residents' backgrounds, culture, and dietary needs.
2. Deliver excellence in meal times, dining experience, and presentation.
3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensure food standards, and comply with health & safety regulations, monitoring practices regularly.
4. Manage effective finance controls and adhere to budgets set by the company.
5. Manage and develop the kitchen team, including supervision, appraisals, and induction of new members.
Essential Skills, Characteristics, and Experience
* Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
