Site Manager - Barnsley
3-month contract, potential to extend
£20.29 per hour paid weekly
Full time - 37 hours per week
JDR are currently working with the local authority in South Yorkshire to recruit a Site Manager to join the organisation. We're looking for an experienced manager to support a small team to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. The ideal candidate will have worked within a visitor attraction, visitor focused location with a knowledge of the heritage sector.
This role is a 3-month fixed term contract, however there is potential this can extend.
What you'll be doing -
Responsible for the overall day to day running of the site
Opening and closing of the buildings
Carrying out site checks and maintaining health and safety documentation
Maintenance of internal facilities and asset teams
Managing and supporting site teams including retail and income management alongside the commercial team
Working collaboratively with a range of departments
What we're looking for -
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within visitor attraction environment
Awareness of the health and safety requirements and legislation
People person who works well with various teams and individuals
Problem solving skills to be confident dealing with unexpected issues on site
Excellent communication skills
Commercial awareness is also advantageous
Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS and referencing checks.
