The Role
Reporting to the Divisional HR Manager, the HR Manager plays a key role in business partnering with the General Manager. As a member of the senior leadership team, they are responsible for managing all local people priorities. This role is 100% site based at Aldershot and is essential in creating a positive work environment and ensuring the efficient operation of the site.
Responsibilities
 * Build strong relationships with key business partners and deliver value‑adding HR activities.
 * Develop and implement HR strategies supporting the site’s plans.
 * Manage local processes such as sickness & absence monitoring, internal recruitment, training and payroll.
 * Support on‑site Consultation Forum meetings for healthy communication.
 * Provide statistical information on overtime, absence, headcount.
 * Attract, motivate, develop and retain talent through effective resourcing, L&D, performance management and reward strategies.
 * Maintain open and collaborative relationships with the business.
 * Manage disciplinary issues – investigations and hearings.
 * Champion a positive high‑performing culture using Open Leadership.
 * Collaborate with the UK HR team to develop best practice.
 * Act as a coach on performance management and development.
 * Implement country‑wide initiatives in O & D, reward, talent management.
 * Champion people‑management processes for consistent delivery.
 * Lead organisational change programmes, ensuring compliance and alignment with values.
