Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Identify and develop new business opportunities, following up on referrals and leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Manage the full sales processfrom initial contact and proposal preparation to contract negotiation and closing. Handle site surveys, quotations, and tender submissions in a professional, timely manner. Provide face-to-face support and consultation with prospective and existing customers. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities. Maintain and update CRM systems with prospects, client data, and sales activities. Monitor market trends and report feedback to management. Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure project success from start to finish. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues with patience and professionalism. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 2 years sales/business development experience (ideally in the construction or joinery sector). Strong attention to detail. Excellent face-to-face communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure. Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks from initiation to completion. Works well independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and organisational skills to meet KPIs and deadlines. Confident with IT tools, CRM systems, and MS Office. Full clean driving license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays. Desirable Criteria: Prior knowledge of the joinery, doors, or wider construction sector. Experience in marketing and business development planning. Familiarity with fire safety regulations and certification would be advantageous.
