HR Manager
– £37k-£40k, permanent position, hybrid working. Location: Cannock (Headquarters) with a day each week at other sites.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify, articulate and implement HR standards across the Group
2. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives across all sites
3. Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to shape organisational culture and drive business performance improvements
4. Provide regular updates and insights to the UK Senior Management Team on HR metrics, trends and initiatives
5. Develop and maintain a system for monitoring HR standards and performance indicators
6. Prepare and present reports to the CEO and Senior Management Team on HR performance, challenges, and opportunities
7. Design policies to reduce sickness and absence rates across all sites
8. Work with site managers to address attendance issues
9. Guide health and well-being initiatives to support employees
10. Assess working conditions regularly across sites
11. Implement opportunities to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity
12. Promote a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and high performance
13. Lead training programs to improve staff skills and competencies
14. Implement best practices for competence assessment aligned with business goals
15. Support talent development to build leadership within the group
16. Leverage AI tools and digital platforms for HR processes and employee development
17. Ensure staff are trained in relevant digital tools
18. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, with support from UK legal advisers
19. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices for continuous improvement
Required experience:
* Proven experience in HR roles managing operations across multiple locations (minimum 3 years)
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
* Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
