Spin Master is a leading global children's entertainment company that creates exceptional play experiences.
We are seeking an experienced, autonomous HR Manager to lead our UK HR operations on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. The role is a standalone position with full ownership of HR functions for the UK site of approximately 75 employees. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, you will act as a trusted advisor to site leadership and the go‑to person for all people-related matters.
Responsibilities
* HR Site Leadership: Manage day‑to‑day HR activities and provide end‑to‑end support across the full employee lifecycle.
* Employee Relations: Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance and absence management, and exits, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
* Leadership Coaching: Advise site leaders on people management, employee engagement, and challenging situations.
* HR Systems Management: Own HR data within Workday, ensuring accuracy across lifecycle events and supporting system‑related queries.
* Policy & Compliance: Implement, consistently apply, and keep HR policies and procedures compliant with UK legislation.
* Collaboration & Reporting: Partner with the VP of HR and wider HR teams, provide updates on site‑level matters, and contribute to HR projects.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar, preferably in a standalone or site‑based role.
* In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex employee relations cases.
* Strong proficiency with HRIS, specifically Workday.
* Desirable: CIPD Level5 or7 qualification.

Contract Details
12‑month fixed‑term contract. Hybrid model – four days per week onsite.
