Location: Home Counties Office and Home based role with frequent travel to customers, suppliers and exhibitions. Our client is a leading distributor of chemicals and ingredients, representing well known global suppliers and manufacturers across the UK and Ireland. They are currently seeking a Technical Sales Executive to join their expanding commercial team, supporting customers in the Food, Nutrition, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, and Animal Feed sectors for Pet and Human Health. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a technically trained individual with 12 years of industry experience who is looking to transition into a commercial role or into a commercial field sales role. The position offers full training, mentoring, and a clear development path within a dynamic and growing business. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, commercially minded, and eager to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers. This role combines technical understanding with customer engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both science and sales. Responsibilities: Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements and offer technical solutions by promoting a diverse range of chemical products. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and suppliers. Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently. Regular visits to customers and suppliers mentoring will be provided initially for a candidate who is new to sales Attendance of industry exhibitions, trade fairs and seminars. Candidate Requirements: At least two years technical or commercial experience is required Experience within one or more consumer markets such as food, nutrition, animal feed, pharmaceuticals, or personal care is advantageous.
