A Quality Manager is required by our client, a main contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across the North East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join the team - this is a new role created purely as a result of consistent growth. The role: The primary role would be implementation of the Project Quality Management Procedure across the business (including MEP). This would involve training current, new employees and supply chain on the workings of the procedure. Supporting site teams their development of Project Quality Pans and in their review of sub contractor ITP’s to ensure both fully encompass the employers requirements consultant and product specifications any statutory requirements etc. Auditing site teams and supply chain to ensure procedure is been followed and records are been maintained and stored in line with the procedure. Generating feedback and implementing continual improvements to the procedure where agreed and required. Assiting in facilitating and relevant CPD training in line with the developed PQP’s Secondary Role, assistance in maintaining/ updating and disseminating overall company QMS procedure Experience required: Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role within a main contracting environment would be preferred, ideally in the Commercial, Leisure, Education sectors Thorough understanding and practical experience of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and their implementation. Hold a relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or quality management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly to sites across the North East.
