Job Title: Sales & Customer Service Manager (Temp to Perm)
Salary: £35,000 £40,000 –per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Location: Bletchingley
Contract: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, manage, and support a team of sales and customer service advisor
2. Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs and targets
3. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and one-to-ones
4. Manage disciplinary and capability procedures in line with company policy
5. Monitor live and recorded phone calls to ensure quality, compliance, and sales effectiveness
6. Identify training needs and support ongoing development of team members
7. Keep up-to-date staff records (CSCS, CISRS, training logs, holidays etc.
8. Drive sales performance while maintaining excellent customer experience
9. Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally
10. Produce performance reports and provide feedback to senior management
11. Ensure adherence to company processes, regulatory standards, and best practices
Skills & Experience Required
12. Proven experience in a sales Manager or Customer Service Manager role
13. Strong background in performance management and people leadership
14. Experience conducting disciplinary processes and performance improvement plans
15. Confident in call monitoring, coaching, and quality assurance
16. Strong communication, motivational, and organisational skills
17. Results-driven with a customer-focused approach
18. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
19. Familiarity with compliance or industry certifications is a bonus (e.g., Constructionline)
