Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking HGV Driver who is also willing to undertake general labouring duties within our warehouse, on UK sites, and on international deliveries. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is prepared to support operational activities beyond driving.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties (UK & International)
* Safely operate HGV vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and goods across the UK and internationally
* Complete international deliveries, including ferry and cross-border travel where required
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on schedule
* Maintain compliance with UK and international driving regulations, tachograph rules, and company policies
* Ensure correct transport documentation is completed and maintained for international travel
* Assist with loading and unloading when required
Warehouse Duties
* Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching goods
* Prepare orders and materials for delivery
* Operate warehouse equipment where required
Site Duties
* Assist site teams with loading, unloading, and moving materials
* Support general site setup and clearance
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
* Provide general manual support to trades and site operatives
Requirements
* Valid HGV Licence Class 1
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
* Previous HGV driving experience preferred
* Willingness to carry out manual labour and site support duties
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience with international or European driving
* Knowledge of customs or transport documentation
