Overview
You will lead the full compensation agenda for one of the UK’s most recognisable consumer brands, shaping reward structures that engage a fast‑paced, diverse workforce and support business growth.
Responsibilities
* Own the annual pay and bonus cycles – from design and modelling to execution and communication.
* Benchmark pay positioning and stay ahead of market trends to keep structures competitive and sustainable.
* Advising senior leadership as the go‑to compensation expert, balancing commercial priorities with fairness, equity and compliance.
* Lead executive and long‑term incentive design, supporting schemes that drive accountability and business growth.
* Deliver data‑driven insights – analyse pay trends, equal pay and gender pay gaps to provide actionable recommendations.
* Governance and compliance – ensure all practices meet legal requirements, anticipate future legislation and proactively improve reward practice.
Qualifications
* Degree (or equivalent) – additional qualifications in reward preferred.
* Deep expertise in pay structures, incentive design, executive reward and benchmarking frameworks (WTW global grading experience essential).
* Strong commercial acumen – connect reward outcomes with business performance and articulate the “so what” to senior stakeholders.
* Analytical strength – comfortable modelling complex pay scenarios, handling large datasets and producing insights that drive action.
* Strategic mindset – look beyond process to consider how compensation underpins engagement, retention and EVP.
* Influence and impact – hold your own with senior leaders, simplify complexity for a broad audience and inspire confidence with recommendations.
