Technical Sales Executive
£40K Basic + £50–60K OTE | Business Development | Precision Engineering
If you understand manufacturing and enjoy opening doors, this is your chance to break into high-value capital equipment sales.
We're working with a premium manufacturer supplying precision milling solutions into aerospace, medical, R&D and advanced engineering sectors. Their machines are high-spec, high-value and genuinely differentiated.
This role is about generating new opportunity. You'll be responsible for researching target manufacturers, identifying decision-makers, initiating conversations and qualifying projects. Once engaged, you'll work closely with the Sales Manager to bring customers into the showroom for demonstrations and move opportunities through the pipeline.
This isn't transactional selling. It's consultative, technical and long-cycle - and you'll learn how to sell capital equipment properly.
What You'll Be Doing:
Proactively prospecting manufacturers across the UK
Cold outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn
Qualifying technical applications and production requirements
Booking showroom demonstrations
Supporting proposals and commercial discussions
Maintaining accurate CRM pipeline management
What We're Looking For:
Background in CNC, machining, manufacturing or engineering OR
Experience selling into engineering / industrial environments
Confident in cold outreach and business development
Commercial mindset with technical curiosity
Ambitious and motivated to grow into capital equipment sales
Package:
£40K basic + realistic £50–60K OTE
Office-based (Milton Keynes showroom)
Full product training provided
Clear progression into senior technical / capital equipment sales
