Technical Sales Executive — Full Time, Permanent — Up to £32,000 depending on experience — Swindon, Wiltshire.
CMD Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a leading provider of complete end-to-end technical solutions and services across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking a professional sales role supported by a technical framework, with a genuine interest in delivering top-class solutions and service.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers to increase sales, and negotiating all agreement terms, including price, delivery, and specifications.
* Researching, identifying, planning approaches, and visiting potential new customers to grow the sales pipeline.
* Applying technical product knowledge to match specific customer requirements. This includes working with the engineering team and conducting site visits to clarify specifications.
* Managing the full project cycle, including accurate cost calculations, providing quotations/proposals.
Qualifications / Skills
* A confident, determined approach, with the ability to forward think and strategically plan your workload.
* The capacity to successfully manage several projects simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills to build professional rapport with customers in person and over the phone.
* No prior product or industry experience is required, as full training will be provided.
* Previous sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
