Main Responsibilities to include: This role requires a proactive, self-starting attitude and will, in time, involve travel to client sites, industry events, and exhibitions to support business development and deepen customer relationships Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and live chat Proactively manage high-value or complex sales Follow up on outstanding quotes and large-value customer leads Provide detailed product guidance and quote custom solutions for trade clients Help shape the sales pipeline and identify areas for improvement Maintain relationships with repeat clients and support long-term retention Train and support junior sales team members where required Work closely with marketing and purchasing teams to ensure alignment on promotions and stock Attend trade shows, exhibitions, or customer site visits as required The Ideal Candidate: Experienced B2B or technical product sales professional Strong understanding of margin, discounting, and conversion strategy Able to explain and upsell product features with clarity Confident handling large-value orders and trade account queries Proactive and commercially focused, with a drive to spot and convert opportunities Willingness to travel for business development purposes Professional and organised with great written and verbal communication skills
