EMBS Engineering is recruiting for a market-leading, well‑established precision engineering company that designs and manufactures complex, intricate components for world‑leading organisations in Automotive, Motorsport, Formula 1 and Aerospace.
Role Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for the further development and maintenance of all quality management systems, with an emphasis on Quality Control across all operations.
Reports directly to the Operations Manager and focuses on driving continuous improvement within the business.
Responsibilities
* Ensure department targets are set and objectives are met; quality, compliance and product conformance.
* Implement 5S processes and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
* Maintain a QMS aligned with ISO9001.
* Work with and align the business for external audits by regulatory bodies.
* Plan, initiate and manage quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
* Previous Quality Management experience within an SME environment.
* Experience with Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Formula One, Defence precision metallic components.
* Adherence to ISO standards as a minimum.
* Experience working to AS9100 or IATF16949 advantageous.
* Ability to manage cross‑functional problem‑solving teams.
* Experience leading audits and quality system certification processes.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
