We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised, and professional Housekeeper/Cook to join a private household on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards within a private family environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete management of all housekeeping duties, together with the preparation of fresh, high-quality daily meals for a family of three. The role requires a proactive and self-motivated individual who is able to work independently, use initiative confidently, and maintain absolute discretion and professionalism at all times.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
£50,000+ per annum, depending on experience and suitability on a SELF-EMPLOYED contract ideally
Responsibilities:
1. Full housekeeping management of the residence to an exceptional standard
2. Daily cleaning, tidying, and organisation of all household areas
3. Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate and high-quality garments
4. Preparation and cooking of nutritious, well-presented meals for the family
5. Kitchen management, including cleanliness, stock rotation, and grocery organisation
6. Ensuring the household remains clean, orderly, and efficiently run at all times
7. Working independently while anticipating the needs of the household
Requirements:
8. Proven experience working within a private household in a similar role
9. Strong housekeeping and cooking abilities
10. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
11. Professional, trustworthy, and discreet manner
12. Ability to work efficiently without supervision
13. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
14. Excellent written references are essential and must be provided for consideration
