Responsibilities
* Carry out PLC programming and hardware implementation, provide technical direction and support to technician and maintenance staff
* Lead installation of automation upgrades and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment
* Oversee building automation system (BAS); editing, expansion and servicing
* Oversee/carryout electronic and electromechanical repairs and improvements on manufacturing equipment, in particular inverter power supplies
* Partner with fellow engineers to identify and implement solutions for process reliability both in automation and power distribution
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* BSEE or BSEET is required
* Minimum of five years experience in a manufacturing environment
* Hands on knowledge of PLC programming and hardware implementation
Preferred Qualifications
* Siemens PLC platform is preferred; others will be considered
* Experience in the design and configuration of electrical power distribution including UPS hardware is a plus
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is a plus
