We are looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join our growing team on-site in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. You will work closely with senior developers to build, maintain, and improve web and software applications, while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web and software applications
* Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
* Collaborate with senior developers and other team members on projects
* Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
* Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices
Requirements
* Familiarity with web development frameworks like React / Node.js is a plus
* Understanding of databases Microsoft SQL / Azure SQL
* Demonstrate foundational knowledge of Entity Framework Core, RESTful API or ASP.NET Core, and Git version control
* Problem solving mindset and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Enthusiasm to learn and grow as a developer
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
* Personal projects, internships, or coding bootcamp experience is advantageous
Salary
£28,000 - £32,000 per year (depending on experience)
