Junior Developer
The DDC Group has an amazing opportunity for a Junior Developer to join our growing global team. As a critical part of the Technology Team, reporting directly to the Head of AI Engineering, you will be responsible for building foundational skills in coding, cloud technologies, and AI‑driven solutions while learning on the job. You’ll work with Microsoft Azure, the Power Platform, and modern development tools to support applications and AI agents used across the business. As part of an agile team, you’ll contribute to sprints, use DevOps practices such as version control and CI/CD, and support delivery from design through deployment, with full training and mentoring provided.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with flexibility required to meet business requirements.
Hybrid working: flexibility to attend the office as and when requested.
Closing date: Monday 27th April, 9am.
Key Responsibilities
* Learn and apply core coding principles across relevant programming languages.
* Support the development, testing, and deployment of applications and automations.
* Assist in the creation, configuration, and maintenance of AI agents used across the organisation.
* Work with Microsoft Azure services under guidance, supporting the build of basic cloud components.
* Contribute to Power Platform solutions, including apps, flows, and automations.
* Take part in agile sprint ceremonies and collaborate closely with the development team.
* Use DevOps tools and practices such as version control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item management.
* Produce clear and accurate documentation for technical work, processes, and solutions.
* Investigate and troubleshoot issues with support from senior developers.
* Keep up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and development practices.
* Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement within the team.
