The Role As the HR Officer, you'll deliver comprehensive HR support across all stages of the employee journey, from attracting and onboarding new talent to fostering development, engagement, and retention. Collaborating closely with the HR team and management, you'll help maintain seamless day-to-day HR operations while contributing to initiatives that strengthen company culture and performance. Main Duties Serve as a trusted advisor for HR queries, providing clear, pragmatic advice on company policies and employment issues. Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, attendance, and performance matters, ensuring fairness and compliance. Lead and coordinate recruitment campaigns, from drafting job adverts and organising interviews to preparing contracts and welcoming new starters. Keep HR databases and employee records accurate, up to date, and GDPR-compliant. Support monthly payroll, benefits administration, and the preparation of HR reports. Assist in reviewing and rolling out HR policies to ensure they reflect current legislation and company standards. Help design and deliver training, development, and performance management processes. Encourage engagement and wellbeing by supporting internal communication, events, and employee feedback initiatives. Manage absence tracking, leaver processes, and exit interviews, ensuring a consistent and professional employee experience. The Ideal Candidate Holds a CIPD qualification or a degree in HR or a related field. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice across both ROI and NI. Proven background handling employee relations issues in a fast-moving commercial setting. Exceptional organisational and analytical skills, with a meticulous eye for detail. Proactive and adaptable, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the organisation. Discreet and ethical, able to manage confidential information appropriately.
