We are seeking a committed, passionate and experienced Senior Learning Mentor to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on supporting children with diagnosed behavioural disorders and additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will play a key leadership role in developing personalised interventions, working closely with pupils, families, staff and external agencies to promote engagement, wellbeing and success.

Responsibilities
* Support children with diagnosed behavioural disorders and additional needs, helping them overcome learning barriers.
* Develop and implement personalised interventions in collaboration with pupils, families, staff and external agencies.
* Promote engagement, wellbeing and success through effective support strategies.
Qualifications
* At least a degree in a relevant field (or equivalent) with GCSE in both English and Maths.
* Good team player.
* Ability to form a constructive rapport with pupils to enable them to engage successfully with learning.
* Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs.
* Possess high levels of personal integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements and Checks
* All appointments are subject to satisfactory reference, clearances and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Medical clearance and enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
* You must understand your role and responsibilities to comply with legislation and the employer's policies.
* Breaches of data protection, confidentiality or employer policies will be dealt with via the agreed disciplinary procedure.
* Effective from September 2022, applicants must be subject to an online background check; any concerns will be discussed prior to or at interview.
* All applicants must provide documentation proving their right to work in the UK.
Benefits
* Salary: £27,466.58 – £30,535.14 per annum (term time only, 39 weeks).
* First year salary reflects number of working days remaining in holiday year.
