Inbound Sales Executive at Hometree — Peterborough, England, United Kingdom
Role type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Location: Remote first, in the Peterborough or Stoke area. You must be willing to travel to the Peterborough or Stoke offices for team meetings. Reporting to: Sales Team Leader, Operations.
Salary: £35,000 (£25,000 base salary plus 40% of salary OTE)

Responsibilities
* Inbound Sales Handling: Manage inbound telesales contacts via telephone, chat, and email/webform to convert prospects into Hometree customers while ensuring quality and compliance.
* Support in replacement heating offerings: Assist existing customers transitioning to new boilers or greener options (e.g., Heat Pump or Solar), financed through the finance team.
* Market Insight and Analysis: Identify insights from lost sales or competitor switches to inform product/pricing improvements and refine the sales approach.
* Quality and Compliance: Maintain high standards of quality and compliance within a regulated industry.
* Outbound Sales Management: Support outbound campaigns to maximise sales during quieter inbound periods.
What we’re looking for
* Self-motivated: A confident self-starter with a passion for sales and delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with articulate telephone manner and clear grammar for chats and emails.
* Telesales experience: Experience in a telesales role, preferably within an FCA-regulated environment, though not essential.
* Dynamic salesperson: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment and thrives under pressure.
* Adaptability: Quick learner who can evolve approach as initiatives and products change.
Work location
This is a remote role designed for flexibility. You will attend monthly team meetings in Peterborough and twice-yearly social events at the London office. Training or meetings may require you to be in the Peterborough office up to once a week.
