Job Title: E&I Labourer – Global Biopharmaceutical

In this role, you will be responsible to support testing, calibration and commissioning activities of field instrumentation and LV electrical systems across the facility. The ideal candidate brings in-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, Field instrumentation, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interact within a large CAPEX organization.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Assists Instrumentation Loop Checks activities according to company standards and can perform Loop checks by themselves.
* Assists parametrisation of field instrumentation, VFD's and any other supportive field devices.
* Assists diagnostics and small repairs on motors, variable frequency drives (VFD's), electrical and instrumentation panels and automation equipment.
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery and control panels in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams, loop drawings, electrical schedules and schematics to identify and resolve electrical issues.
* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with Company and British standards, works together with more experienced field technicians and maintenance staff.
* Assists calibration activities according to project needs.
* Collaborate with engineering, construction and production teams to deliver project goals.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidate Requirements:
* Start of a recognized instrumentation/electrician apprenticeship (Electrical City & Guilds or other suitable NVQ qualification) or technical program or relevant work experience without degree.
* Additional certifications in Automation systems are an advantage
* Background working with field instrumentation, low-voltage systems, motor controls (VFD's) and industrial automation (PLC's).
* Understanding of electrical codes, industrial safety protocols, and lockout/tagout procedures.
* Knowledge of electrical installation rules in ATEX environments
