Our client is a leading residential main contractor with an established reputation across the regional market and beyond. Typical projects within the residential sector include social housing and open market developments, typically between 70-130 units.
Senior Site Manager - The Role
This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on a residential new build project in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day design and build activities on the project, reporting to a Contracts Manager. Your responsibilities will include site operations, programming, quality checks, and subcontractor management. The project is a medium-scale residential development comprising a variety of houses, in timber and traditional frame, approximately 100 units.
Senior Site Manager - The Person
* Solid experience with a residential main contractor
* Well-educated, ideally with a Degree or HND
* Commutable between Exeter and Bristol
* Proven experience delivering residential (houses) projects within budget and schedule
* Good IT skills, capable of using various systems
* Experience in creating and working to 2-3 week programmes
* Experience delivering at least 50 units simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Proven ability to manage site-based trades teams and direct workforce
* Innovative mindset, with the ability to identify improvements
* High-calibre individual committed to quality and programme adherence
* A good team player eager to contribute to a growing business and achieve common goals
