Essential Information
Job title – Car park assistant
Based at - Belfast City Airport
Hourly rate - £12.80
Contract hours : 20. Hours to be discussed
Key Duties
* A basic day to day running and upkeep of the car parks.
* First line barrier repairs and ticket machine maintenance
* Drive the courtesy shuttle bus to and from the terminal to the train halt which is within the airport boundary.
* Radio communication and liaise with security control
* General housekeeping, including litter picking, and carrying out car park inspections
* Speak with traveling passengers and answer any queries
* Issue passes to airport venders and arrange coach entry as and when is necessary
* To ensuring a smooth flow of traffic within the airport boundary
* Making selective car park bookings
* Control room duties, remote access, barrier operation and handling intercom queries
* Managing vehicle upkeep and refuelling
* Any other duty deemed appropriate by the teams supervisor
Qualifications
* Must have a 5-year checkable history
* Must pass a colour vision test
* Must have been in the UK for 3 years
* Must be 25 years or over and hold a full clean driving License.
* Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a “Can do ‘ attitude with an ability to multi-task.
* Excellent Customer Service and communication skills.
* Enjoy working with people in a busy environment and have the confidence to work alone and make decisions.
* All applicants must be physically fit in order to assist with passengers and car park duties in general.
