Position Description; Scope of the role;
Working as part of the Human Resources team, you are considered as a HR Generalist and will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resource administration whilst also supporting all departments within the business.
As part of your main responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain personnel records, including preparing and amending HR documentation where necessary, this may include, but isnt limited to; employment contracts and training records. You will also oversee Occupational Health annual checks, health referrals, ensuring eye testing is up to date, manage First Aiders (shift planning, training), oversee the offboarding process, and support in the recruitment and onboarding process. This will form your main responsibilities, with other tasks from the main responsibilities and actives section. Your role may also include reviewing and renewing company policies and ensuring company compliance.

Main Responsibilities And Activities
General office administration
Recruitment including, advertising, arranging interviews, job offers, contracts and induction, Liaising with employment agencies
Reception duties dealing with site visitors and handling internal/external calls
Keeping personnel records and general administration including, Typing general letters, faxes, memos etc
Making travel and hotel arrangements
Arranging training including first aid and continuous development
Arranging health referrals and annual checks
Ordering office supplies, first aid supplies and personal protective equipment
Issuing of uniform and personal protective equipment
Taking minutes of meetings - Disciplinary, Grievance, Union etc.
Detailing and maintaining Company policies and procedures.
Essential
Experience and Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail is essential
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to form working relationships with people at all levels
Computer literate, understanding of Word and Excel software packages
Typing particularly when taking minutes of meetings for Disciplinary, Grievance, Union etc.
English language and Maths to GCSE Grade C or above
General administration experience
Being pro-active
Possess strong organisational and time management skills

Overtime available when required
Day Shift Monday to Thursday 8:15am to 4:45pm
No Premium Friday 8:15am to 1:15pm
