About the Opportunity
We are looking to hire 3 SITS Developers to develop and maintain the Student Information Systems by contributing to the planning, delivery and maintenance of software platforms used across multiple products and organisational departments to support the full student lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert SITS technical knowledge and be able to troubleshoot and resolve existing functionality.
* Develop and support other members of the software development team in building industry‑leading products using robust architectural practices and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose, meet organisational strategy and are delivered on time and budget.
* Help manage day‑to‑day software maintenance and support activities.
* Mentor and support more junior members of the development team.
About You
You’ll be an experienced and motivated SITS Developer who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative and innovative approach. You’ll enjoy solving complex problems, mentoring others, and developing high‑quality solutions.
Essential Skills / Experience
* Proven track record in SITS/e:Vision development, including building and maintaining complex SRLs, Tasking, and Vistas.
* Extensive experience of systems integration and Stu‑Talk.
* Expert knowledge of SQL and strong capability in writing, optimising, and troubleshooting queries.
* Demonstrable experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON/XML, Bootstrap.
* Experience working in a Higher Education environment, with an understanding of the student lifecycle.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver quality outcomes.
* Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and mentoring junior colleagues.
* Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
Desirable Skills / Experience
* Knowledge of PHP and related frameworks.
* Understanding of Machine Learning (ML) principles.
* Experience of software deployment pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
* Experience with API integrations and cloud‑based middleware services.
