The Role

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Executive to grow our presence across East London by building strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and foodservice clients. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base, increasing product visibility, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

* New Business Development: Identify and acquire new B2B customers within the FMCG industry.
* Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies to drive product awareness and sales in the region.
* Product Promotion: Work closely with marketing to deliver promotional activities, in-store demonstrations, and product launches.
* Negotiation & Contracts: Manage pricing discussions, promotional agreements, and contract negotiations.
* Market Insights: Analyse competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to improve sales performance.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer service.
* Reporting: Track sales performance, targets, and pipeline activity, providing regular reports to the Sales Manager.

Person Specification

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a sales role within the FMCG industry, ideally in food & beverage.

Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship-building skills.

Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of B2B sales, pricing models, and promotional strategies in FMCG.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel across the North of England to meet customers and attend trade events.

Full UK Driving Licence required.
