Quality Manager Location: Cumbernauld, UK Salary: Circa £50,000 Benefits Are you an experienced Quality professional with a strong background in ISO management systems and regulatory compliance within aerospace, avionics, or electronics? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a site Quality leadership role, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement within a high-performing engineering and repair facility. The Role As Quality Manager, you will be the nominated post holder responsible for leading compliance across CAA/EASA Part 145, Part 21G, and multiple ISO frameworks. You will work closely with the Site Manager and wider leadership team to ensure the organisation meets stringent aerospace and aviation quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading, maintaining and developing the organisations ISO management systems (EN9100/EN9110/ISO14001/ISO45001). Managing approvals under CAA/EASA Part 145 and CAA Part 21G. Acting as primary liaison with regulatory and certification bodies. Establishing and delivering an independent audit programme, ensuring compliance and continual improvement. Leading management review meetings to appraise effectiveness of quality systems. Overseeing corrective actions, document control, and supplier quality assessments. Supporting safety reporting and occurrence investigations in partnership with operations. Delivering quality inspections, including First Article Inspections. Providing limited audit support at a sister UK site. About You We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality leader who can work across technical, regulatory, and operational environments. Essential: Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, EN9100, or EN9110). Proven track record in implementing and maintaining ISO-certified management systems. Experience managing ISO14001/ISO45001. Strong auditing background (internal & external). Relevant technical qualification in engineering, with ability to interpret technical drawings/data. Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis & reporting. Desirable: Experience with Safety Management Systems in aviation/avionics/electronics. Exposure to Aviation Regulations (Part 145, Part 21G/J). Familiarity with SharePoint .
