We’re looking for an experienced Recruiter to play a key role within our HR team, helping us grow by identifying, engaging, and onboarding outstanding people across all areas of the business.
What You’ll Do
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll work closely with our Recruitment Specialist and Seasonal Recruitment Coordinator to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience across the business. As part of a collaborative and supportive recruitment team, you’ll manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, from sourcing the right candidates through to ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience. Partnering with hiring managers across multiple departments, you’ll help attract exceptional talent while promoting and strengthening the Gear4music employer brand.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing both high-volume and specialist recruitment campaigns across multiple departments.
* Sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent using a range of recruitment methods and tools.
* Coordinating all recruitment administration, including contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
* Delivering a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for all new starters.
* Building strong relationships with hiring managers and acting as a trusted recruitment partner across the business.
* Scheduling interviews and supporting recruitment events and assessment centres.
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and always ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Providing an excellent candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
About You
You’ll be a proactive, organised, and a people-focused recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced and growing environment. You’ll have experience managing both high-volume and specialist recruitment campaigns and be confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
We’re looking for someone with:
* Proven recruitment experience, ideally within an in-house environment.
* Experience using recruitment and onboarding systems.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
* Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
* A positive, collaborative approach and a passion for delivering a great candidate experience.
Additional Information
Location: Holgate HQ, York (with flexibility to attend our Clifton Moor and Sherburn In Elmet site when required)
Hours: 39.5 hours per week, 9am-5:30pm with 30 mins lunch Monday–Friday (early finish on Fridays!)
