Your new role
In this key position within the Employment Law team, you will provide high quality legal support to members, workplace representatives, and internal officials.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering professional advice and representation in employment and industrial law matters.
2. Preparing and managing employment law casework.
3. Representing members at Employment Tribunal hearings, including undertaking advocacy.
4. Overseeing and supporting the work of Employment Law Legal Advisors.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Qualified Employment Solicitor status (desirable but not essential), or equivalent practical experience in employment law and Employment Tribunal work.
6. Experience advising and representing individuals in Employment Tribunal cases, including advocacy.
7. Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
8. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
9. Well-developed legal research skills.
10. Confident IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
