IFA Administrator

Belfast (BT9)

Salary c.£28k – £32k DOE

McKinty Associates are working with well-respected Independent Financial Advice practice who have a requirement for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to work closely with the existing team supporting the Company Directors whilst gaining exposure to a wide range of topics including specialist financial planning matters and becoming a vital part of the financial planning process. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial advisers, managing client documentation, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations

**We are happy to consider candidates in the market for full or part-time**

Main duties will include:

1. Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers.
2. Handle client queries professionally via phone and email.
3. Manage incoming correspondence and emails.
4. Schedule client meetings and manage adviser diaries.
5. Assist with client onboarding and fact-find documentation.
6. Prepare client documentation for financial advice meetings (meeting packs and suitability report documentation)
7. Liaise with product providers, platforms, and pension companies.
8. Process new business applications for investments, pensions, and protection products.
9. Track applications through to completion and follow up with providers where necessary.
10. Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems ensuring documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements.
11. Support general office administration and workflow.

Eligibility criteria:

12. Level 4 Diploma Qualified (Desirable not essential)
13. Previous experience within an IFA/regulated environment (Min 3 years)
14. Knowledge of pensions, investments, or protection products.
15. Excellent report writing skills
16. Strong academic record
17. Computer literate – Thorough knowledge and capability using front and back-office systems
18. Detailed and accurate
19. Good numeracy skills
20. Ability to achieve agreed client outcomes without supervision
21. Ability to manage deadlines and workload
22. Ability to work independently and in a team

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly technical and qualified individual who can offer skills in addition to the existing team and provide clients with a positive and professional experience.
