Job Description: As a Site Manager at Global Health Environments, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction and fitout of dental clinics from their start to completion. You will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
* Manage project schedules and timelines, monitoring progress and addressing any delays or issues promptly.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards and client expectations.
* Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
* Procure materials, equipment, and resources necessary for construction activities.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, site photos, and material logs.
* Resolve any site-related problems or conflicts efficiently and professionally.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, preferably within commercial or healthcare fitout projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
* Proficient in reading construction drawings and documents.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
* Relevant certifications in construction management or occupational health and safety (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS) are advantageous.
Benefits:
* Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:
The role will primarily be based in construction sites across the Northeast, with occasional visits to the company's head office.
