Role Purpose
Lead a quality assurance team to verify that all materials including finished products are safe and conform to all relevant specifications, legislation and customer requirements.
Location: Hull, Humberside.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the QA team, ensuring adequate coverage across all shifts.
- Complete audits and monitor the consistency of outputs across the team for compliance purposes.
- Maintain KPIs and monitor the consistency of outputs.
- Train the team to ensure new processes and procedures are adopted.
- Build production team capability to improve communication and understanding of technical standards.
- Investigate customer complaints or any non‑conformance raised internally or externally, providing data to inform resolution.
- Organise organoleptic panels to ensure consistent quality.
- Ensure a safe working environment exists for all employees and that the department meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
