Customer Services Manager
We are recruiting a Customer Services Manager for our client in Aldridge, Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family‑owned food service business, leading a high‑performing team to drive commercial growth and protect revenue.
Details of an Customer Services Manager:
Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
Salary: £48,000 /year
Role of an Customer Services Manager:
Overseeing Internal Sales (incoming calls no cold calling) and Customer Service teams, including resource planning and performance management.
Coach and support two supervisors to build capability, strengthen team performance.
Drive service excellence and customer retention by managing KPIs and customer complaints.
Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Commercial and Finance to maximise growth.
Requirements for an Customer Services Manager:
Qualifications:
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
Management or leadership qualification (ILM, CMI)
Customer service qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3) Experience:
Proven experience managing an internal sales or call‑centre team, including supervisors and customer‑facing operations
Experience implementing customer retention or service improvement programmes
